I love the energy here. It's lively and has a DJ spinning on weekend nights. The space and menu are creative and stylish. Holstein's is a restaurant but are best known for their extensive list of alcoholic milkshakes.
There's pretty much something for everyone including bar food and different variations of your popular burgers. Come prepared to pay strip prices though. Burger and fries will set you back $15 - $20 with no alcohol not included.
I've been here a few times and have had the following:
- Caesar Salad: Delicious
- Bucket of Buffalo Wings: Best I've ever had
- California Turkey: The patty was good and juicy; however, bland in flavors with a greasy bun.
- The Gold Standard: Again, the patty was cooked very well and was juicy. The overall burger was way to greasy.
- Key Lime Pie Shake: Delicious
- Creamsicle Float: Not a fan
- Oreo Shake: Not enough Oreo's!
- Fries: Good, not great.
So far, the food has been hit and miss for me. The service isn't anything to write about either. Especially at the bar... in fact, don't expect good service there.
Overall, I would continue to go back and have Holstein's again in the future. Although I tend to think there are better burger options at under $15 a meal and $15 a shake in Vegas.
