  • The one star is harsh, but I'm really disappointed with the outcome of my hair. Went to get a body wave perm which is offered as a service on her Style Seat profile. When I arrived, I immediately got the feeling that she hadn't done one on my length of hair before (mind you my hair is down to the small of my back). The reason I say this is that she was looking up tips while I was sitting in the chair. I gave her the benefit of doubt and went through the treatment. Two hours later, she removed the curlers and washed out my hair. She cut it to ensure that it'd look "healthy" when it dried and sent me off with wet hair, letting me know she couldn't dry it due to the process. As soon as my hair dried, the "wave" was uneven and I felt like there really wasn't any shape defined by the cut. The top of my hair held the waves the most but the further down my hair, the less it was apparent there was any type of wave. To be honest, it just looked fried. I waited out the 72 hours to wash and hoped it would look better after a good wash with the right product, but nope. It was just as bad if not worse... So I text Eden to see if she had any tips that she could offer - no response. She had specifically told me to text her if I needed any product recommendations. I gave her a couple more days assuming she was busy or preoccupied with other clients and text her again, but nothing. Really disappointed and absolutely hated my hair after 1.5 weeks so I went back to my original stylist to get it fixed. It's a shame that I wasted $250+ and ended up chopping off 8 inches of my hair to get rid of the damaged pieces. I also had to get a deep conditioning, split end treatment to fix the rest of my hair. I would've gave her a higher rating if she would've responded or helped fix my hair.
