  • There are a number of factors that make car problems so incredibly FRUSTRATING, like finding a reliable mechanic to honestly diagnose and professionally repair my car for a fair price and within a reasonable amount of time. Fully aware that I needed work done on my breaks and shocks, I started asking around and several people in Lakewood recommended Knapp's Auto. On my first visit to Knapp's, I dropped my car off the night before to have my front breaks and rotors replaced, and I couldn't believe it was ready for pick up the next day. On my second visit, I dropped off my car in the morning to have my rear shock coils replaced, and it was finished within a couple of hours. For both visits, the cost was better than what I expected (based on quotes from the dealer and from another auto shop), the work was professionally done and the process was unbelievably smooth, convenient and fast! Not to mention, everyone I interacted with (Don, Jerry Sr., Jerry Jr. and the young woman at the desk) was so down to earth, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and really helpful. Car problems are inevitable, but it's so much less frustrating knowing Knapp's is right around the corner when I need them. Highly recommend.
