  • Monte Carlo is not what I expected. Many people asked where I was staying and I said the Monte Carlo & everyone would say, "wow what a nice hotel". Maybe I set my expectations high due to those who said only positive things about this hotel but it isn't all that. Although what did I expect. The staff here is very helpful which I did enjoy. Everyone including the housekeeping were amazingly nice. I loved that about this hotel. Now talking about the room, I found hair in a couple of places including our bed & the bathroom. Then there was a cup placed right out our door that had been left there 2 out of 3 nights of our stay. A cup that was not ours. The location is okay, I noticed we walked all the way over towards the Bellagio to Harrahs, but thank god for the tram that allows you to get to Bellagio. Another thing, the water drain in shower does takes FOREVER to go down. Though the rooms is very clean and comfy I liked this hotel. All hotels have the good and bad. I had a good time though. I will be returning to the Monte Carlo for my 21st in August. It sounds that I'm only talking bad but I really enjoyed my time, and the Starbucks down stairs. The food court down below is nice as well, so when you return with drunken hunger you have choices. I would recommend this hotel, it is nice! But not the best, though I have nothing to compare on the strip.
