  • We came here for lunch on a weekday and there was a line, so we thought this must be a nice restaurant. The waiters/ waitresses were friendly and polite. The food was pretty decent. I ordered the Homemade Corned Beef Hash which came with bell peppers, onions and 2 eggs, hash browns, and a toast. My friend ordered South Shore Scramble which came with 3 eggs scrambled with diced chicken, bacon, sliced avocado and swiss, a piece of coffee cake, and fruits. We ended up switching our main dishes ourselves because we like each other's better. I love the scrambled egg and the avocado the most. What is interesting is that the famous coffee cake in this restaurant isn't really a coffee cake as it doesn't have coffee flavor. So we asked the waiter to see if he accidentally served us a chocolate pound cake and he replied, "it's only called a coffee cake," which cracked me up. Overall, I like the combination of their food.
