| - Dr Cottrell was extremely unprofessional, I took my son to him for a rash that will not go away, he prescribed antibiotics that made my son sick and caused his eyes to swell and his face to turn extremely red. Took my son back hopping he is allergic to antibiotics and we can give him some other antibiotics. Dr Cottrell claims it's eczema, he never had eczema in his whole entire life, he is 17. Eczema medication did not help, he started having other symptoms too, fatigue, rash did not go away, his face got a lot worse. Took him back to Dr Cottrell, dr Cottrell basically accused my son of making up symptoms so he prescribe stronger medication, that was not the case, my son is home sick, can't play basketball any more, have no energy. My son got upset with the false accusations and him and Dr Cottrell got into a heated argument! Very unprofessional from Dr Cottrell, I'm his mom and watch him being extremely sick every day! No need for accusations! He could've asked him or me nicely. So I asked Dr for blood test, called the office over 10 times to get blood results, finally I get a phone call saying that Dr Cottrell don't want to see my son again! I was forced to take him back to his pediatric that believes he might have lupus, we are getting a lupus panel done on him. Dr Cottrell accused my son and disregarded the fact that all his symptoms are lupus symptoms. Do not see him for anything, unprofessional and should not be a Dr at all.
