  • Have eaten at Island Sushi and its partner business next door, Poke Express, many times, but my most recent trip reminded me that I MUST leave a Yelp review. Had a craving for sushi while out shopping on a Sunday. Island Sushi was nearby so we stopped. SO glad we did. I had never been here for AYCE Sunday brunch and it was to die for. In addition to AYCE sushi covering most of the menu (including apps and cooked food), they also had a huge list of additional offerings including breakfast mains, Hawaiian favorites, special sushi rolls and desserts - all part of the AYCE menu. Banana bread french toast with coconut syrup? Yes, please. Spam omlette? Yes, please. Malasadas with guava syrup? Yes! I am a very picky sushi eater, but every time I have been to Island Sushi the fish has been very fresh. I also appreciate they dont give you these huge clumps of sushi rice with AYCE in a cheap attempt to fill you up. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed. Overall, for the money, quality and service I dont think you can beat Island Sushi for sushi. Make sure you go for Sunday brunch!
