  • Right in the heart of Historic Old Towne Glendale is The Glendale Shoe Company. Not only is the setting charming, but the service is from days gone by - personal, friendly and attentive. Bud stocks lots of Dansko, my favorite brand and gets new styles in all the time. While driving by Saturday night, we spotted a new style and stopped to pick me up a pair. Greeted with a warm "hello" and a big smile, Bud explained all the new things about these shoes and made sure I took home the proper fitting pair for my feet. While talking about the ones I was purchasing, he showed me another pair, and wonder of wonders, those will be coming home soon too - he offers layaway! Perfect for when it's cold outside but the new spring open toed styles are already in stores! Not only does he go above and beyond with the customer service he provides, but he will also do special orders if you wear a hard to find size. Fantastic shoes at great prices, friendly service and a great location - what more can a girl ask for when she wants to go shoe shopping? He stocks other brands and a line of purses too - but my eyes are only for Dansko - and he's got the best selection in town
