  • Crown Bakery is my favorite bakery in town, and that's not just because it's next to my favorite restaurant in town, but simply because they have a great selection of tasty treats! I like to come here to pick up cookies and little tasty snacks to have around the house, and I usually get a Thai Iced Tea while I'm here. The pastries are cheap, and are very good. Everything is made in-house, that same day, and are layed out on display on shelves and tables. I wish I knew the names of most of my favorites here, but I really enjoy the almond cookies, and the soft vanilla madeleine's are also very good. The one thing I definitely would suggest is their Palmiere's. A true test of any good bakery is their Palmiere's: simple, but so good. If you're not into pastries, don't worry, neither am I... but you will love this place none the less.
