| - I've stayed at numerous W hotels in my life and this has got to be the worst example of a W. Prior to check in my son tried to send a bottle of champagne and some beers to our room for check in. This was done at about 10 10-30 at night and after 35 or 40 minutes of being put on hold, told to wait, he just hung up. He informed me the next day that this had happened and I thought I should call the W to make sure that this is not going to be the kind of service that I was going to receive or maybe I should just stay elsewhere. I was informed after being put on hold three , times transferred 3 times , that no, that was not the service I was going to get well unfortunately it was. After checked in there was a bottle of champagne in the room so I guess eventually it got taken care of. Check in went fine, the lady was very nice however no one had made any notes on my reservation that there was a problem and I had to inform the check-in Clerk of everything that it happened prior to check in. Although she was kind and offered a room upgrade I was still a little perturbed. Got up to my room and after traveling needed to take a shower. All I can say about the towel is that it was stiff as a rock and had yellow stains on it. I quickly picked up another towel although there were no yellow stains on the towel it was still quite stiff. When I got back to the room later that night I slipped into the bed expecting soft soft sheets. They were about as comfortable as the towels. The next day we took off for the day at about 10 o'clock in the morning we got back to our room at 4:30 and the room had not been made up. We sat at the little table and had a caesar salad. We left the room about 6 o'clock and I called downstairs to ask them to please send someone up to service the room as it had not been done yet. Got back to the room later that night, they hadn't cleared the garbage cans, they had not taken away the dirty dishes ,they half heartedly made the bed. I called back downstairs and asked them to please take care of this. The next day housekeeping came they did a slightly better job however they never vacuumed, the crumbs from the Caesar salad we're still on the table. I called back downstairs again and told them, they assured me it would be cleaned properly the next day. It was cleaned properly the following day however not once during all of these phone calls and all of these complaints did the manager reach out to me to apologize to say that they were sorry absolutely nothing. They did refund two days Resort fee. However still not sure what the resort fee was for since the internet Wi-Fi was hit-or-miss I never got my water is replenished for my room, took me two days to get clean cups to have a cup of coffee. So all in all I would have to say I was very unhappy with the W Las Vegas.
