  • I have always driven by this sushi place and wondered if it was any good. It is literally at the end of a failing strip mall, but always seems to have cars parked there. So one afternoon I called up a friend and suggested we give it a try and he readily agreed. When we arrived, the place was packed and remained that way throughout our meal. I think it was a Friday night. There were families, couples, younger kids, etc. The menu boasts happy hour all day on certain items and so we chose a couple of those as well as some of the specialty rolls. The good: The place was clean, the sushi was YUMMY, and the service was prompt and friendly. As sushi normally does, the meal added up quickly (around $65 for two of us along with one drink each), but no major complaints. The only bad: One of the dishes I ordered was forgotten (a sea weed salad with seafood on it). However we were still charged for it. When I brought to the attention of someone, they offered to give it to us to go. I thought that would work out ok - a snack for the following day. However, when I went to open up the salad the following day I found that all it contained was seaweed and cucumbers - not a speck of seafood. :( I was SOOO disappointed!) I will definitely be back and will give this place another chance because the sushi was good. But - I will make sure I get all of the dishes we ordered before the bill comes next time!
