Hearing so much about this place really hyped me up. Usually the line is pho king long so I never stopped by. The one time I get to try it and I was disappointed. The server and food runner were friendly but the other staff members weren't as much.
The goi cuon was dry and loosely wrapped... The nuoc mam lacked in flavors... the cha gio was average...
What I did enjoy was the bun thit nuong! Grilled porked was sweet yet savory. The bowl contains a good amount of lettuce to balance out the rice noodles. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Another missed opportunity was the boba slush. They use powder for almost every flavor so I'm not a big fan of that.
Overall the spot doesn't strike me as a staple location to recommend or go out of my way to eat at. Better service could have changed that if they had anticipated the guest's needs and concerns more.
