  • I was excited to go to Koolkat Designs since a friend had recommended it to be a location to sell my mid to high end handbags. I walked in and there was one person there. She asked to show her work and was not encouraged. My friend walked in during that time. I approached the person not behind the counter and asked about the possibility of having my work in the store. She talked down to me like a child, as the person behind the counter was listening and aware, telling me that never walk in to a gallery, always make an appointment. I told her that often cold calling works. .She told me they were moving off the main road to a larger barn type building. She said they really didn't need any more handbags but to contact her via email and told me if you cold call a place in Lawrenceville you will never get an appointment. Meanwhile, my friend, a possible customer was gooed over and treated like royalty. Looking around there was some nice jewelry but otherwise nothing great. Thank you but I choose not to move further with people who are not kind.
