| - I have never stayed there, never been there, heck I don't even live within the same state. However, this review isn't on the building, room, food, etc. It is on the lack of courteous behavior I have been subject to trying to deal with this business.
I am planning a wedding for 11 months from now. We have decided we want something unique with a "wow" factor. I found the Artisan and put every other venue on hold because the pictures impressed me so much I was willing to look past the poor reviews and decline all other offers just to have my wedding there.
Well, I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the hotel for over a month to discuss wedding packages. I have called, left messages, talked to the front desk (who gives me the sales number where I leave ANOTHER message), sent the online requests from their website, sent emails. After two weeks of my attempts, even my maid of honor tried while I was at work.
FINALLY, someone called my MOH and I was relieved and overjoyed (mind you, my messages, emails, etc. from almost 5 weeks ago have YET to be acknowledged or responded to). This woman told her they would email her package information. That was more than a week ago and we have seen and heard nothing.
If I were looking to spend a couple hundred dollars I would just take my business elsewhere and let it be; however, I am looking at spending THOUSANDS. If I can't even get a call back, I can't trust this place to take care of such an important (and EXPENSIVE) event. This is incredibly unprofessional. As a customer who is looking to spend a lot of money with you, my time should be respected just a LITTLE more.
