Edison's Pub is in my old stomping grounds of Tremont. Used to walk here a few times a week back in the day. This is exactly the kind of pub I miss in San Francisco. Not that SF is lacking in pubs or watering holes, but there is some kind of magic spell that Edison's puts on me that keeps me coming back when I visit home.
One thing that really surprised me is the quantity of quality beers offered in bottles including selections from Lagunitas, Bear Republic, and Brewery Ommegang. Some of these on tap would be nice, but just having them in bottles is enough.
My only disappointment, which is relatively minor, is no more "crabby cakes" at Edison's Pizza next door.
A huge plus is the popcorn to help absorb the alcohol.
