I have NOT had the best luck with auto shops and with the vehicles I've had in the past, I've seen a LOT of shops. I frequented Whitey's with my 2001 Maxima and about a year and a half ago bought a new Versa. There was absolutely NO question where I would be bringing my vehicle to in order to keep this new car in tip-top shape, from oil changes to any major service I would need.
I live out in Chandler, so there has been ONE occasion where I couldn't make it out to Whitey's and brought it in to the dealership for an oil change. They gave me a quote for my 30K maintenance schedule and at nearly $1,000 I HAD to bring it to Whitey's to get a second opinion. Once I did, they checked out my car and said I would only need about $350 worth of work....quite the difference. The dealership made me feel like my car would explode as soon as I hit 30K miles, but Whitey's assured me I was fine. They pointed out how important it was to get the work done, but gave me a reasonable schedule on when I might be taking a bit of a risk.
I brought it in today for my oil change and half of the work thinking I didn't want to sit there all day without a ride. The work was estimated to take 2 hours. I brought my laptop to get some work done and was pleasantly surprised that I had access to free wi-fi! Not EVEN an hour later, my car was done. I knew these guys always got me out of there sooner than they promise, but this was incredible! I've never experienced not wanting to leave an auto place before! I should have gotten the full job done!
Another great experience and just another reason why I'll drive the 35 minutes to get there! I COMPLETELY trust these guys with my car and know they've got my back!
