I called ahead of time since I don't get many of my clothes altered and the owner gentleman was so kind and informative on the phone that I knew I was in good hands already. Everyone is so welcoming when you walk in with HUGE smiles on their faces. I felt very comfortable there when I brought in a dress that needed an alteration. It was a new dress so any alteration that I made to it, would render it unreturnatble. Alma was very confident with my vision of turning my dress into a backless dress. While I thought it would be a major feat, Alma said "no problem it will be ready tomorrow." I felt awful because they were clearly busy and was on a short leash because I needed the dress for a wedding that weekend, but Alma ensured me that it would be done. When I came to do a second fitting, Alma offered to alter the pants for my husband! They got two pairs of his pants done in less than 24 hours even though I could tell they were super busy. As for my dress, I could not have been happier with the finished product. It was a major sylistic alteration and it looked as if the dress was designed to be backless. I got so many compliments at the wedding! They even steamed the dress for me too. Alma and her husband are amazing and make an awesome team. The customer service here is outstanding. I cannot recommend them enough, even if you live across town. Also, they can alter any type of fabric, so curtains or bedding or anything else that is fabric is not off-limits!
