  • The only reason this is even a one star review is because yelp won't left me give a half star and because I do actually like the furniture. The actual purchasing of the furniture was fine......it was afterwards where everything went downhill. My furniture delivery was scheduled for a weekday. I took off work to be there. I received a confirmation call two days prior. All good, right? Wrong. The day of comes...there's a delivery window. That window starts and stops with no furniture. 30 minutes after the window ends, I call Ashley. I'm hold for 27 minutes. I finally get someone...explain that the window has passed and my furniture hasn't come and he proceeds to tell me "oh, I'm sorry....looks like your furniture never made it on the truck this morning." SERIOUSLY? I took off work, then sat around waiting and no one even bothered to call to tell me the furniture never made it on the truck??!! Unbelievable. He tells me how he has to transfer me to a different person, then does so....and as soon as I get to that person, I get disconnected. I call back, get a person again (after another 14 minutes on hold) and a few sentences into the conversation, I get disconnected AGAIN. I call back a third time (only 9 minutes on hold this time...progress!) and explain to the person that their staff keeps hanging up on me and she says, "no one's hanging up on your we're having problems with the phones." Massive attitude problem, particularly since my furniture purchase (and lack of arrival) is helping to pay your salary. But whatever. Anyway, she ends up sending me back to the store (b/c at this point, I'm ready to just cancel the order) and the store agrees to give me 20% off the purchase if I keep it. They set up a new delivery date of a few days later and on that day, the furniture does indeed show up. Two delivery guys, one of whom had a MAJOR bad attitude. Not sure what his issue was but his attitude was so bad that I eventually said, "um...did I do something?" He muttered no, though he never explained why he was so unhappy. The really scary part is that he appeared to be training the other guy who was with him! Like others have said, literally SECONDS after they sat my furniture down I was asked to sign a form ensuring there was no damage. I did sign, mainly because I wanted the entire experience over with and for bad attitude guy to just leave as quickly as possible. By the way, here it is nearly a month later and I've yet to receive the 20% credit on my account. Disastrous experience. Do not walk away from this store. RUN. Take your money elsewhere. Save yourself the trouble.
