  • If you are a water sports enthusiast, or looking to become one, and you live in the greater Phoenix-area this is the shop to know. Corey and Teri, a husband-wife team, do everything to take care of their customers. They are extremely knowledgeable and very focused on helping their clients make the right choices. I have been a customer for over two years. I bought my first real SUP race board from them. Due to their input I got a board that has taken me a long way in the sport. This is crucial because when you are involved in a sport with a learning curve you want to purchase gear that will grow with you versus gear that you will move beyond in ability in 2 months. Before I met them, I had gotten advice about paddle length that caused me to experience a lot of soreness in my shoulders. It was impacting my love of the sport and also other things in my life. Corey helped me to get my paddle the right length (and ultimately I switched to a different blade that he recommended) and the pain went away almost immediately. 14 weeks ago I bought a new puppy. A retriever. I wanted him to become a paddle board companion. I met Teri at Saguaro Lake and she took the time to help me set-up an appropriate board and get him out onto the lake. I am so grateful. Now me and Finn are styling! So, don't buy that $899 deal on a stand up board at Costco that you will never love. Go to Riverbound, get some good advice and join the local community that Riverbound has created.
