| - I have purchased numerous cars and have been to a lot of dealerships around Las Vegas. All of them had one thing in common. Someone greeting you upon arrival and ready to help right away... then I came to Carmax. First stood in the lobby for a couple of minutes, no one approached us. We went on outside and checked out some cars. After finding 2 we were interested in, we figured togo back in and have someone help us out, you know, maybe buy a car? So we waited 10 minutes and not one sales person approached us. I walked up to their "business center" and i literally asked, "Do you have any sales associates willing to help out a customer?" The guy sitting there basically laughed it off and the girl answered "all of our associates are busy with other customers", so I turned around and saw FOUR just sitting at their desk not budging. So i asked her, "even those four?" She says, "I'll call a sales manager for you." Ok... another couple of minutes pass and me and the wife both lost patience snd started walking out. On our way out, an older gentleman approached us (unwillingly) and asked if we needed help. His body language and attitude clearly told me he wasn't there to help. I told him about the cars I looked at and without getting any info he just told me I couldn't get any car for less than $700/mth. Basically saying i would end up paying $50,000 for a $30,000 car with near-perfect credit, umm, I'm ok on that. Bye. Thanks Carmax, that's the last time you see me or anyone I know on your lot.
