| - Just a heads up if your heading West on Deer Valley Road and need to break a $100.00 Bill.
This is not the place. YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS LAME CREDIT UNION TO GET CHANGE.
" Hi", can I help you, was the friendly greeting I received this morning from a blonde teller when I entered this financial (not a bank) institution.
Yes, says I, I'd like 5 $20's for this hundred, thank you, as I slide it through the window. After the cursory examination, she asks "Are You a Member"? Sorry no, I just need to break this down into 20's.
Ms Blonde, then looks for guidance from the much older brunette to her right, who is shaking her head like a wet dog who exclaims "NO. IF YOU'RE NOT A MEMBER, WE CAN'T BREAK THAT FOR YOU".
What? Why? "BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT A MEMBER".
Hmmm.
There was no offer to sign me up, so my mind is screaming, there must be something amiss.
Do they only have enough 20's for members? I wonder how many that would be?
Do they not have any $20's? I would have taken any denomination.
Did they loan out all the $20's to their membership?
Would the blond have to borrow some $20's from the brunette teller to break my hundred?
Was it not her day to hold the $20's?
Was it training day and they haven't graduated to counting 20's yet? What happens if they have to count to 22?
Were they saving the 20's for a run on the (not a real bank)?
So folks, if you need change try a REAL BANK.
Better yet you should BANK AT A REAL BANK.
