This is a relatively new hotel - still have the "new hotel smell" :-)
We were pleased with the room size, the two queen beds, and the relatively clean bathtub and shower. The water pressure was good and everything was a-okay. However, we found a piece of dirty cloth on the floor of the closet. It was a bit disgusting so we kicked it to the corner of the closet and never opened it during our stay (out of sight, out of mind). However, as we were next to a major hospital and my mind could not stop wondering if that piece of cloth was somehow related or bio-hazardous :-) I hope the housekeeping staff would pick it up before the next guest after us check-in.
The only problem was the "mandatory" valet parking (as self parking is about 2 blocks away). I tried to call in the morning to get the car in advance but no one picked up at the valet desk. I walked down and saw about 10 groups waiting for the car - it was hectic and messy there. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the valet staff to show up and waited for the car to come. I should have just asked the valet desk to give me the key and direct me to the valet parking lot to pick up the car myself - probably faster.
Overall, we thought the service was good and the room was decent. The rate was good but the $18 valet is a bit on the steep side.
