  • Living in Midtown Phoenix we have a lot of trendy breakfast stops that offer top notch meals, but with those top notch meals comes higher prices and long waits. Some days you just want cheap eggs and pancakes without a ton of effort. Scott's Generations is my go to for these days. I love walking in and automatically getting the feeling that you're in a mom and pop diner straight out of a Seinfeld episode (they sell black and white cookies!) The service is always friendly and fast. The food's not the best in town, but sometimes basic pancakes and eggs is all you want and they do it well. But don't expect to have fancy pancakes with lots of add ins like other nearby pancake places. So if a basic breakfast or lunch is what you're looking for, I would definitely come here.
