| - I was really looking forward to try Bouchon. I'm not the biggest fan of French food, but I do enjoy it from time to time, and I was in the mood for something different. I have to say that the whole experience was a disappointment.
Finding Bouchon can be a challenge. If you're looking for it, go to the front desk and look to the right. There is a sign with elevators, and thats what you want to take to Bouchon.
Now that we go there, we sat at the bar while they prepared our table, and sat down pretty much on time. I let the waiter chose for me, as I was feeling optimistic. I ended up with Veal Cheeks for starters, and the Sea Bass for the main course.
The Veal Cheek weren't bad, just a disappointment. The Sea Bass was a bigger disappointment. I have had much better at much lesser restaurants. They don't offer a soufflé, which was a little disappointing for a French restaurant. Sine the meal was pretty lacking, we decided to just catch desert somewhere else.
The biggest disappointment was the service. Our food took a long time, over an hour! And it was really not worth the wait. If you're looking for fine dining, check out Alize at the Palms. They treat you a little better, have soufflé, and make a much better food.
