  • My experience with rental car companies has been simply a necessary evil. None have prompted me to write a positive or negative review, until now. My experience with Alamo was WONDERFUL from start to finish. Friendly and quick agents. Though I was given the standard 'pitch' about insurance and upgrades, it didn't feel as obnoxious as usual. The agent who directed us to the line of cars we could select was great as well. Friendly and helpful. The bottle of water is a nice touch. Be sure to check Costco for great rates. Be mindful that taxes at Sky Harbor (PHX) are ridiculous and can add up to over half of your total payment.
