I routinely get Brazilian waxes in DC but was overdue after being on the road for a while. I decided to try this place out while visiting home and had the WORST WAX EXPERIENCE EVER! For starters, the girl who did my service was hesitant when pulling off the wax making it a prolonged and excruciating experience. At one point she couldn't get a large patch of wax off and made at least 5 attempts pulling little by little each time. Just shoot me!
After making it through the session I told the girls at the front desk that it was not a good experience and quickly went home to assess the damage. I got home and found my lady parts extremely swollen, red, and sensitive. And to add insult to injury, there were still hairs everywhere. It took three days for the swelling to go down and within a week my hair had grown back. I normally can go 4 weeks before needing a touch up. The worst part were the million hair bumps that I had (I do not get hair bumps). I was even concerned that a few may be infected and considered going to the doctor at which point I called this location to let them that their "tech" needed more training before seeing other customers. I was told a manager would call me for details but they never did. Really??? I would think if a customer indicated they may need a doctors visit due to a service they received at your store, it would be considered a serious issue to follow up on.... I wanted to give them an opportunity to address their issues but I guess it's not important to them. Hence my review. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I did, especially with a woman's most delicate body part.
Anyway, it has been almost a month since my visit and I am still dealing with the after effects. If this were my first wax I would never get one again and am still hesitant after this experience. Agree with a previous post. Go at your own risk! Negative stars if I could.
