Just prior to a two day vacation, I dropped off my car for an oil change. When I returned, I went to pay and retrieve my key. "Have a great rest of your day," said one the employees. Went to start my vehicle but got no response. Went back in to get help thinking one of the techs maybe left a dome light on and the battery is dead. Not the case. The hood was not latched and after the store manager finished opening the hood, I noticed the battery wasn't connected. His response- "The alarm was going off so we had to disconnect the battery." That would have been good to know... After trying to start it multiple times using his starter kit, he thought it was best to take the 8 month old battery back to Farm and Fleet to get a warranty replacement. So I took the battery home, put it on a 1 hour charge and took it to Farm and Fleet. The test came back with a "Battery Meets Or Exceeds Industry Specifications Under Vehicle Simulation." Now a long story short. I purchased a set of wrenches, connected the battery, and latched it down. The car started on the first try. Left a message for the manager to call me back first thing in the morning but still waiting...
