  • I heart local businesses so whenever possible, I will support them over national chains. We arrived in Waxhaw after a 12 hour drive from South Florida and our relatives told us this was a "must" to visit. First, they are kid friendly which is a major plus to those of us who have little minions. The feel is very cozy and laid back. You feel so comfortable that you feel like you're at a friend's house. They have plenty of board games to play in the corner including a life-sized Jenga. We ordered two sets of beer samplers and had some food delivered from the BBQ restaurant across the street. How much better does it get? The beer was tasty and was reasonably priced. They do a half and half which was amazing! I wish we had more time in Waxhaw so we could go back again while we were there, but I assure you we will be back to visit very soon!
