This aviary is physically small but packed to the brim with a ton of different birds! (According to their website, 500 birds of 150+ unique species!) Even if you don't think you like birds, you will be amazed by all the different colors, sizes, and sounds! There are 3 "free flight" areas where the birds are free to swoop around your head. The penguins are adorable of course, but I was also partial to the tropical rainforest exhibit.
I came here right around closing time on a Monday. I was worried that this wouldn't give us enough time to see everything, but actually it was perfect because all of the exhibits were completely empty!
$15 for adult admission and $14 for children/seniors is a bit steep considering the relatively small size of the aviary. You can see everything in about an hour, maybe 1 1/2-2 hours if you're with kids. But at least you can feel good about supporting their conservation and education missions!
