I purchased a $300+ TV console here over the weekend since I was able to pick it up because my dad was in town for the weekend and he drives a truck. I thought I made a great buy, it looked great in store and the price was reasonable. The box was in great shape so I assumed the furniture would be as well. Only to get home and discover that several parts of the wood veneer on the TV Console were chipped off, not small chips mind you, they were very noticeable. I called their customer service to see how I could get an exchange to me and they told me that because of their pickup agreement I was responsible for getting it back into their warehouse (which is 30+ mins away from me each way) and the best they could do was to waive their truck rental fee for me. How is one guy supposed to carry a 74" tv console by himself? They refused to waive their $60 delivery fee to exchange my item. After another call they offered to charge half of the delivery fee or take 10% off the item for the damage which still leaves me in the situation of paying more than their retail for an item that was damaged from the factory (paying for something that was not my fault) or accept the tiny discount, keep the TV console and live with the damage. I purchased furniture from this place in the past and those pieces weren't perfect but I could live with them and was planning on purchasing more furniture in the future but the second time being even worse and receiving only bad options to fix the issue really disappoints me. I'm now trying to figure out which of the bad options I should choose.
