  • Good service and great food! We walked in on a Thursday evening and they weren't really busy. We were greeted by a friendly lady (the owner?) as we walked in the door. Decor has a modern (dare I say, IKEAish feel) to it with all the multi-color led lights that under light the bar. Waitress was friendly and attentive. We began with an appetizer of latke's with bacon on top. Delicious...wish there had been more so it served its purpose and definitely got my appetite going. When we go again, I think we'd probably order them with the mushroom cream sauce on top to give that a try as well. I ordered the Jager Schnitzel for my entree. I was born and raised in Germany so have some experience with the real thing and this was very comparable to some of the best schnitzels I've ever eaten in the U.S. The potato salad on the side was also well made and delicious. We had the rhubarb bake for desert and it was very good also. Price would be my only concern with this place as they're a bit higher than a normal sit-down type restaurant. I'm not sure if they had other selections of beer, but from the menu I ordered from it appeared that the lowest price beer was around $6 or so. I expect they probably have to import them as I've never seen any beer on their list at any other restaurant. With an appetizer, two entrees, three beers and a desert the bill ended up being in the neighborhood of $90.00 with tip. That being said, they've certainly cornered the market with this specialty type restaurant and I certainly look forward to coming back again.
