  • I just stayed here this week for 4 nights for business and was very pleased. Having been there once before a few years ago, I returned again and had a positive experience.. The lobby had such an inviting fragrance of vanilla and I felt very welcomed upon checking in. To my surprise, I was upgraded to the 8th floor which was the Club InterContinental complete with private lounge. In the mornings, full breakfast was served buffet style---eggs, oatmeal, bagels, fresh fruit and so much more. They also do an afternoon tea but I was unable to check it out since I had to be at work. In the evenings and again for those on the Club floor, hot and cold appetizers were available from 5-8 pm. I had gotten the opportunity to try it twice and it was delightful. Also for Club members, coffee, tea, water and soft drinks are available all day until 10 pm. There was also beer and wine but at an extra charge. All in all, I really felt spoiled. But even if I had not been upgraded, I really liked this hotel as the staff was quite helpful and friendly, my room and the hotel was immaculate and it was also centrally located in Toronto. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto.
