I have a 14 month old son. We are new to the area. He's not in daycare, and we don't have an enormous playroom. We have the Children's Museum less than 3 miles away.
With appropriate toys and space for kids as young as 1 (there are some ramps that my son needs help with), its a great space to let the kids get wild and learn. There is a lot of great sensory experiences from climbing, to building, to playing with water. My son easily plays for over an hour here since there are several separate areas to explore.
A great place to take kids to get them out of the house! Some mention the price being high, but honestly it seemed like a good deal to me - I plan on buying a membership. Think about all the toys you could have bought your child for the price of admission, and how it would keep your child entertained for about 30 minutes - that puts the experience in perspective for me.
