  • I had my daughter on thanksgiving and because of that there were no lactation consultants making rounds at the hospital :( thank goodness for Summer! At my daughters newborn check up we were told she was not getting enough to eat via breastfeeding. We scheduled an appointment with Summer and thank goodness we did! Not only was she fantastic during the actual consultation at our home, but before hand she was able to let me know to go to urgent care as I was having symptoms of what ended up being double mastitis. She was thorough yet made me feel super comfortable and not rushed at all through the whole consultation. My daughter went from almost needing to go back to the hospital for complications with jaundice due to trouble breastfeeding (bad latch) to now being able to breastfeed to the point where she gained almost 3 pounds at her 1 month check up! We could not have done it without summers help. If you are even thinking you might need help get it now and call Summer because it is better to get help before you get mastitis or your frustration levels go up even more. Thank you again Summer!
