| - We are owners at the Cancun, and have stayed here multiple times, both alone, and with our small children. It is a great place, as long as you remember where, and what, it is. It is a resort, not a hotel, not a casino. There are so many ammenities here that you won't find at just any hotel. They have scheduled activities for children, and adults alike, most for free. The rooms are fully equipped with living room, dining room, and full kitchen. No, there aren't many food options, no, it's not anywhere near the strip, no, you can't go downstairs to gamble or bar hop.But if you have a vehicle, you can get to anything pretty quickly since the freeway is close anyway. My sons love the water slides, I love the hammocks. We try to go during the week, and stay in the penthouse, and we never want to leave! I highly, highly suggest for people wanting a "family" vacation to stay here! To respond to some of the fomer complaints, yes, we have often had problems with the jacuzzi on the decks, but I pay quarterly maintenance fees, so I don't mind bugging the crap out of the staff to have it fixed. Also a big perk....TONS of luggage carts!!
