| - Many people are missing the REAL ISSUE here.
As it happens, as a healthcare practitioner, I just received a message about a seminar on an approach which is, to all intents and purposes, identical that that of CTCA. These both make a big deal about a HOLISTIC or INTEGRATIVE program of cancer treatment, and emphasize their including of modalities (such as medication, chiropractic and herbs), apart from the standard, rigidly orthodox approach. At first glance, this might sound very attractive. Of course, they also tout their modern "state of the art" equipment and facilities, and preeminent oncology practitioners.
Now, the orthodox-standard approach--with surgery, chemo and radiotherapy--is barbaric (frequently leaving severe disfigurement and serious immune system compromise), and is unequivocally based on flawed theory, but you have to comprehend that the institutions under discussion, rather than having made a dramatic switch to another paradigm/ treatment model have completely retained this junk stance...and have merely added some additional modalities (e.g., to help with the nausea from chemotherapy). The only tenable approach would be to DUMP this junk completely and rely on an "alternative" (and more legitimate) theory and associated modalities.
For further clarification, one might consider a scenario which includes the discovery that your primary practitioner has been treating your ill child with an arsenic compound. And, upon learning this, rather than throwing this worthless and lunatic quack out of your house and demanding his arrest and loss of his license, you continue to retain him, but ADD other treatment modalities...in addition to the crazy--even dangerous--methods this loser has been inflicting upon your child.
If this makes any sense to you, I'd suggest you do a little research, and also contact the Cancer Control Society for info and referrals. I know whereof I speak. PEACE!! ; )
