The Beaches library is located adjacent to Kew Gardens in the Beaches neighborhood of Toronto and serves its neighborhood admirably. The library is one of three identical branches built with Carnegie grant money the other branches being Wychwood and High Park.
Inside one can slip in for a relaxing reading afternoon or a tough study workout as there are plenty of chairs and work tables spread throughout. What's impressive about the Beaches library is the interior, the soaring arched ceilings, the expansive view onto the street/gardens from the glass windows and the pretty and majestic floral carpeting covering the levels.
Fairly quiet library save for the occasional baby tantrum, the beaches library is a nice, clean space for all library lovers.
