  • So, this I believe is an obligatory thing to do if you are in a couple. get a drink ( my choice was whiskey and apple cider) wander around, hold hands, listen to christmas music, look at all the people and their babies, deck some halls, eat some poutine, sit by a little campfire, get another drink, snuggle. and then go home. There's almost nothing to buy, at least nothing of value or a real gift, unless what your brother in law is screaming to have is a bean can banjo ( your welcome), its pretty lame on the shopping end. but for me, its about watching that doe-eyed look in the eyes of my girl as we hold hands and smooch under a christmas tree and she stares at babies, and i drink whiskey and eat fries. it doesn't get better. perfect date night.
