| - I just had dinner at North of the Bayou. If I closed my I eyes, I could have been sitting at my grandmother's kitchen table in Bunkie, Louisiana. And yes, Bunkie is a real place. I ordered the crawfish etouffe, and it was delicious. Just enough rice, lots of crawfish, okra, peppers, and a perfectly spiced sauce. Smokey, rich and just a bit hot. Jessi was delightful, and gave me plenty of time to savor this amazing dish. If and when I'm back in Madison, I'm definitely coming back.
