  • I went in to the white river fly shop today to pick up some leader. Fly fishing has been a huge dream of mine for years but it's definitely difficult to get started by yourself. Immediately I was greeted by two of the workers in the shop, I'm terrible with names but I think it was rick who helped me. He gave me almost a mini class on what the difference between line, leader and tippet was and also gave me some helpful tips, projects and ideas. Being new to the area I was nervous and over whelmed and he gave me more help than I could even imagine. He did not push any sales on me but truly wanted me to feel comfortable and learn and enjoy the sport as much as he does. Thank you for all the help, I will definitely be back.
