| - I have had a Yelp account for 4 years and this is my first review,
We had attended the Southwest Cajun Festival today in downtown Chandler as we love Cajun and Southern cooking. While walking down the crowded streets looking for the next place to try we spot the Honey Bears Banner, the banner reads, Honey Bears, Gumbo, Jambalaya, Boudin, Etouffee, wish I would have taken a picture. As you can imagine the lines are 30-50 people long and you get in line about 50 feet away from the stand, so we decide to give them a try.
Lines at all the places were long so we expected this and discussed what food we liked so far and what we still would like to try, as well explained to my wife what Boudin was.
So after about 15-20 mins we finally worked our way up to the counter. Once at the counter we were greeted, what would you like, I quickly said I would love a bowl of Gumbo, and we will try the Boudin as well. The attendant replied, we don't have those items! With my puzzled look I asked what do you mean? The sign above my head reads Gumbo, Boudin, etc. The attendant then points to a small sign at the opposite end of the stand and sarcastically said these are the items we have. I then replied but you cannot see that sign walking by or standing in line, you should probably fix that, and the attendant replied well maybe you should learn how to read!
Restraining myself we walked away, this was the first and last time I will ever think about eating at Honey Bears.
