| - Wow! Phenomenal. Fantastic. All of those amazing words can't begin to describe this place. When I read my friend Andrew's review of this place and in his words, "every town has a "best brunch spot" and this may very well be Phoenix(area)'s", I was super excited to find out that this place was within walking distance from my hotel, Tempe Mission Palms.
When we walked in, we immediately felt old. Everyone inside was like 25 or younger. Oh well, I didn't feel out of place. The hostess and the waitress were super nice. Our waitress even brought us out a "gift", a pineapple upside down pancake. Thank you, Abbie. Now our trip complete. My friend doesn't usually eat breakfast, but she talked out this meal for hours.
They have several morning drinks available, including three versions of bloody marys. I played it safe and stuck with the basic one which was $.75 less anyways. For my meal, I ordered the Snooze breakfast burrito and requested the sauce and pico on the side. It was stuffed with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and black beans and was excellent. I'd say it was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I was hesitant in ordering it because of the potatoes, but they weren't greasy at all. My friend ordered The Snooze Classic which included farm fresh cage-free eggs cooked any style and a choice of ham, bacon, sausage, chorizo, pulled pork, chicken sausage or soyrizo, hash browns, choice of toast. She said that her entire experience was life-changing.
I agree this is "the" breakfast spot in the Phoenix area.
