  • I've been coming here for the past few years and I've even brought friends and my step mom with me. But, yesterday I went in because I was having sciatic pain and asked that the therapist work just on my hips and glutes to get the muscles to relax where I was having pain. First, the therapist asked too personal of questions about what my doctors had told me, what they told me to do for it, etc. and kept pushing me to answer even when I gave her vague answers like, "they are working on helping me to improve". Then, she suggested that it wasn't sciatic and was something else because the sciatic nerve is only on the left side. Really? Did you pass your anatomy exam? I've been in and out of the hospital for this issue for the past few months, I think my neurologist knows more than you about the diagnosis. I had an hour long appointment scheduled and she worked on my glutes for about 15 minutes and then went to my neck and started squeezing it, not massaging it. She did the same squeezing motion for what seemed like forever until I started to get a headache. I've never interrupted an appointment, ever, but I had to ask her to stop and I left with 20 minutes still left of my hour. Things happen, maybe a client doesn't fit with a certain therapist, I understand that. However, when I called to tell the manager what happened and to tell them that I didn't feel I should have had to pay for an hour, I expected them to make things right - especially since I've never complained before. I rescheduled for the next day with another therapist, assuming they would comp the cost and apologize, but they called me just before that appointment and offered me $10 off! Just $10 off of a $50 massage, that I was then going to pay another $50 for the rescheduled appointment so basically, $10 off what was going to cost me at least $100 because they gave me a horrible therapist. I've never been so disappointed in a massage experience.
