This is your average hotel on the strip. There is nothing fancy about it but it does have Diablos Cantina next door which shows a lot of your high profile sporting events.
Check-in at the Monte Carlo went very smoothly. I had reserved my room on a comp that I received through "My Vegas Slots" which is a Vegas application on your smart phone, and I had no issues redeeming it. I even requested a room next to some friends and they granted my wish without hesitation.
My one complaint about this place is that the wifi is very sketchy. Downstairs in the casino and surrounding areas it worked great. Once you tried using it in your room it would fade out. If you are going to charge your guests over $25 for resort fees, I would expect everything to be at it's full capacity.
