  • In an effort to save money for our Grand Canyon trip, we decided on renting a full-size sedan instead of a SUV. We couldn't leave Nevada with the hopes that it won't snow on our way to the South Rim. We needed snow chains. Do you know how many Checker/Auto Zone stores we went to in 2 hours?!? Four. And then, there was Wal-Mart. Rozlyn, a staff from the tire department, was extremely helpful and even went out to the parking lot with me to get our tire stats. She explained the differences between cables/wire/rubber tighteners, gave her opinion on which is better and gave us pricing choices. Only to find out that the chains we needed were out of stock. Oh boo. She pointed us to another store which carried them and we were finally on our merry way. Horray for great customer service!
