rev:text	I'm sad to say I was dissatisfied and disappointed: 1. That I spent $10 here 2. That I was in a rush and I read the yelp reviews waaaay too late. 3. That I didn't trust my first instinct when I walked in, I wanted to walk right back out, and I should have (this should be #1 but I don't feel like switching it.) Okay fellow yelpers, so let me clarify that I cannot attest to the entire menu (but you see the other reviews), all I ordered was chicken fried rice. Nothing complex. Omg I had been craving fried rice for weeks now. I was actually near china town for other reasons, and figured what better place to grab chicken fried rice. Just a quick something to hold me n the kiddos over until dinner. China town was maybe a good idea, probably not at the time (bc lots of joints were closed and that limited my choices...but the again, it's China Town for crying out loud!!!! You can't mess up fried rice!!!), but Sam Woo was a bad decision. I guess I can award my one little (it's a little star) star to the service. The hostess was helpful, friendly, and gracious. The server behind the to-go buffet was nice, we had a bit of a language barrier, but some nice patrons translated for me. I thought I took a picture, but apparently not. How was the chicken fried rice...awful! My kids and I all agreed that it was completely flavorless. I only like light soy sauce when I eat my fried rice, it can be overwhelming and too salty (on a good batch of F. Rice). I have never in my life used 3 packets of soy sauce on my portion...I did that night...and guess what!?!? It was STILLLLLLL completely flavorless! It was so bland that the dish absorbed the flavor of the soy sauce and neutralized it/canceled it out! My eldest daughter wouldn't even eat hers bc she couldn't get past the presentation and the texture of the chicken. The chicken looked like little worms, or like noodles. It was weird! I wish I had the picture, but I think someone else captured it in the yelp photos. The chicken had absolutely no flavor/taste. It was so "tender" that there was no sign of the meat fibers. My daughter thought they were tentacles. She refused to eat it. I tried and I couldn't finish mine either. What a waste of money! So yelpers, BEWARE...
