  • Very overrated. People in Madison tend to love anything that isn't a chain, regardless of taste, price, appearance, etc. I can't wait till Dunkin Donuts opens across the street, lol. Not that DD is better, but Lane's certainly isn't worthy of the rave reviews. It is the only kid on the block and their products look better than they taste. But if you want a donut with an odd after taste, served with overly friendly customer service, then this place will make your day.
