| - As I considered where to board my mule, I didn't give as much thought to security as I did to cleanliness, stall size, the number of arenas and round pens. This was my first experience at boarding my mule and I quickly came to understand and appreciate that security ranks right up there with food and water. I like the fact that this is a gated facility. I wouldn't want strangers roaming the property, feeding treats to my mule, posing for that "Kodak moment," and possibly getting hurt.
During the last month I spent time at three different equine facilities for various events. Red Mountain Stables, by far, is the cleanest facility, the stalls are well built and maintained, the owners are available and helpful, and without a doubt, RMS is the most secure.
