We discovered China Poblano exploring the Strip the day before and decided to return for lunch today. It was a nicer, more casual spot without being too low key, unsophisticated for our style and palates.
We picked 2 cocktails to start, the unique twist on a classic, Mexican gin & tonic and a Jade Garden. Both were enjoyable.
For the meal we picked 2 from China, 2 from Mexico. Our favorite from the Lucky 6 Sui Mai was the beef with the traditional a close second. The scallop lack the flavor the others did. The steamed pork buns were spot on. The Caldo Talpeño soup had great flavor with a nice touch of heat. Our ceviche citrico was pleasant though was least exciting of the dishes we chose.
If we chose dessert, it would have been a full order of the beef Sui Mai.
We would definitely come back to explore more of the unique combinations and options.
