  • Firstly Massage Heights will attempt to sell you a membership. Basically it entails committing to one 60 min massage month for about $80, with additional add ons such as hot stone, at discounted prices of which they automatically withdraw from you every month. Now I know other reviewers are put off by the sales pitch at the end, however, I was just very polite and up front that I was not interested in a membership. Now that you know it's a membership facility, you can decide for yourself it's worth your while. If you go for regular massages (twice a month) as well as your benefits has a high max, then it may be worth your while. The massage room I was in was very nice, neat and tidy. The room had a very relaxed and serene feel to it, as you would want it to be for any massage. Linens were also top quality. My masseuse Darrell was excellent. So Massage Heights does have something to offer. Honestly, I believe if they scrap this whole "membership" gimmick, and just charge $80-90 per massage, they can still retain a set clientele if not get even more traffic. My regular masseuse charges $90 and i don't have to sign a contract or do any pre-authorized payments. I'm loyal to her both for her massage technique and price. I only booked an appointment here because my work is switching benefit providers and I needed to use up my massage benefit and my regular masseuse was all booked up. I would have rated Massage Heights Northgate location 5 stars if not for the membership gimmick. The masseuse and facilities were great! I highly recommend they re-think their business model. I probably will not return only because I don't want to pay the "non-member" price for their services and I'm not willing to commit to a "membership." Their introductory prices is very good though, so if you're willing to go through the uncomfortable sales pitch, it's $60 for a 1 hr massage if you're a first timer.
